Wisdom of the Cat
And Adam said to the Lord,
"Lord, when I was in the garden,
you walked with me everday.
Now I do not see you any more.
I am lonesome here and it is difficult for me to remember how much you love me."
And God said,"No problem!
I will create a companion for you that will be with you forever....
Regardless of how selfish, childish or nasty you may be, this new companion will Love you..."
And God created an animal as a companion for Adam...
And it was a good and loving companion.
And God was pleased.
And the animal was pleased and it wagged it's tail.
And Adam said,"Dear lord I have names for all the animals, what shall I call this one?"
And the Lord said,"No problem!
You may call it dog....
it is a reflection of my Love for you and so of my name."
And Dog lived with Adam and was happy as his companion and Loved him.
And Adam was pleased.
And the Lord was pleased also.
After awhile Adam's guardian angel came to the Lord and said,
"Lord Adam is full of pride.
He thinks himself king of all...
he struts around..
Dog has taught him much and that he is Loved-
but not humility."
And the Lord said,
"No problem!
I will create another companion who will be forever with him and who will see him as he is..."
And the Lord created Cat to be companion to Adam.
And the Lord was pleased.
And the Cat would not obey Adam.
When Adam looked into Cat's eyes he was reminded that he was not the supreme being he had thought.
And Adam learnt humility.
And God was pleased.
And Adam improved ( a little)
And the Dog was happy and wagged its tail...
And Cat-
Cat didn't care either way!!!
Cats being superior will try to understand if this causes offence to those who are not- of the same understanding....tolerance is they have heard a good thing....
